Learn How To Reach Your Full Boxing Potential With These Great Boxing Training Techniques!

From The Desk Of: Jimmy Cox

Fellow Boxing Enthusiast

I set this website up because I absolutely love boxing, everything from being in the ring to punching strategies and fitness training. I love the egalitarian nature of the sport. It is accessible to all – small, big, rich, poor, male, female. That’s why I want to share my boxing training secrets with as many people as possible.

Since you’ve found this website I’m assuming you love boxing as much as I do. The truth is, I’m always on the internet looking for boxing drills and training tips. While doing some research, I stumbled upon a fantastic manuscript by Mr John Walsh.

Mr Walsh was one of the most acknowledged and influential boxing instructors of his time. He spent years training and fighting.

I noticed that most of his work was available online with the exception of one of the most important pieces of work, Boxing Made Easy’.  Even though it was first published in 1951, this book has the best boxing training information I have ever seen.
It contains some extremely powerful techniques including, boxing training procedures, punching strategies, conditioning secrets, pre-fight preparation tips and the skills needed to become the best possible athlete.

In the 14 chapters here’s just a snippet of what is covered:

  • Tips for coaches in the boxing world – how to explode your boxers skill and ability.
  • Proportions - there are two types, long back with correspondingly short legs. Short back with correspondingly long legs. Discover the pros and cons
  • Proper equipment - the proper mouth guard, gloves and bags are all part of training and developing in the best possible way.
  • Conditioning - find out what different forms of conditioning are needed to strengthen the body so its ready to take the hard knocks.
  • Workouts - you'll be shown what constitutes a proper workout. This must be done right, or the boxer will not get the benefits.
  • The hands - a boxer with bad hands is not going to be able to pursue his sport. You will learn how to bandage the hand correctly and avoid irreversible damage.

If this is the kind of information that you have been looking for, here’s the good news…

I have contacted the original copyright owners and gained permission to republish Mr John Walsh’s complete work on this website. Although I had to pay to have the manuscript reformatted and published online, boxing training is my passion. Therefore, I want to share this book with as many people as possible for free.

The information is second to none and you’ll soon see a massive improvement in your punching and fitness.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Cheers and Good Luck in the Ring

Jimmy Cox
