Get Fit Fast! Quick Boxing Workout for Legs, Cardio and Arms

by David Jenyns

I put together a small sample of exercises and had a client and one of my boxing trainers (hes a golden gloves) do it real quick. In reality, you can do this same routine but I would personally add 5-10 more reps to each exercise except the boxing part. Plus, I would repeat this same routine from beginning to end 5-10 times. no it builds your cardio…quick burst. Plus, moving? your whole body especially your legs increases your heart rate.

your def. right. She did need to work on punches but she really was just trying to get a cardio workout in. I let the poor technique slide since she wasnt going to hurt herself. Yet, i agree.

@KrawczykFitness, He (fitgy321) has it right. Your cardiovascular system is a system of vessels that carries blood to and from tissues throughout the body, it brings nutrients and oxygen to your heart and all muscle groups, while at the same time removing wastes and carbon dioxide.

She needs to practice on throwing real punches and not just simply going through the motions.

Tip to the trainer, hold the mitt higher for his hook…that hook is mid to low and he isnt throwing right. I mexican style boxing and if we know we know somthing its boxing.

we can all speculate during pad work…but like Bruce said…”boards don’t hit back” the bags, the pads are for the conditioning, the perfection of your own basic form and mastery of your own way.

SPARRING is where you are testing your distancing, timing, accuracy…

most fighters simply need to learn how to keep their fucking hands up…any fool can throw punches.

Hi Mr. Pilger. I am mma practitioner and i love boxing as well. Just have a question for you. In what ways do you think boxing is evolving? Just curious on you take on things. MMA is still so young and has alot of growing to do as far as technique. I want to see boxing move foward as well.

Awesome video! It really helped me alot. Thank you for your time sir. 🙂

@buffbode with a few years of fundamental grappling u can most likely defend urself from much more expirianced grapplers, but in striking u need that expiriance i agree with u

Great technique and hip rotation. This adds so much power to any punch.

Arm punches are for fighters that like to play it safe and land quick strikes with little power to score points and win by decision… Its sads that theres always going to be people winning fights like that… Hopefully some of them will learn from this… Nice video…

By getting comfortable with it, you get comfortable with it by working on it as much as possible. Perform the box drill, I have that video on my channel at a higher speed and with3-4 steps in each direction.

Just move around the ring while in your stance pivoting and turning on the balls on your feet while stopping to set and punch. Do this and work up the pace and speed of it and you’ll be very comfortable with your footwork.

Let me know if you need anything else.
