Can I start up Boxing Training just for fitness?

by David Jenyns

Question by zap1234: Can I start up Boxing Training just for fitness?
I dont want to “fight” anyone, but all boxers are lean mean-machines. I am thin but would like to build some muscle and work on my fitness level, can I do this in a boxing gym without having to fight?
Also do those guys accept outsiders or people who are just in it for fitness/fun?

Of course you can.

No one’s gonna make you fight if you don’t want to.

It is GREAT exercise and will get you in shape like nothing else can.

You will not avoid, however, learning how to throw a punch. This is a good thing, as you will also be able to handle yourself if the situation calls for it.

Listen guys who come in and bust their ass are respected just the same, no one’s gonna look down on you because you’re training for fitness reasons.

Give it a shot I promise you results, and by the time you get pretty good with your hands, you might find yourself in the ring after all.

Training just for fitness, of course..
You will increase much stamina, endurance, get the muscle and the function, increase speed, your awareness
Anybody accepted for boxing
Yes, you can and you will like it
It is the best sport in the world

Aye of course you can, most gyms have plenty people there who only go for fitness reasons and never swap punches with anyone.

Plenty advice at the website below….
