Dobermans teeth grow from four to 6 months, therefore mouthing is quite usual then. Although mouthing is not biting, it can grow aggressive in your doberman pinscher to be tolerable. Besides, controlling this habit gets more and more challenging day-by-day so it is better to get rid of this habit at an early age.

Usually doberman puppies mouth our hands during excitement or when playing and puppies more often do this more to children than adults. And it is up to you to discourage this habit of your pup.You can use the steps mentioned below to train your dog puppy.

Initially, a doberman pincher will use his mouth to investigate his environment. During the teething process, it keeps the dog happy to chew on all kinds of items, soft and hard.

Give your doberman some chew toys with unique textures to help get their chewing needs properly with puppy training. It is suggested to use larger rawhide items and natural bones for your pups to meet with their chewing requirements.

The moment when your pup starts chewing on you just make him understand that you are in pain no matter if she has really twinged at your skin. Just let out a yelp, by doing so she will be scared and will leave you.

If you want to maintain good relation with your pup simply treat him as you treat your child.

Reward the puppy for his good habits. Puppies respond eagerly and quickly to rewards that propel. Another method which can be applied is to train your pup to follow your commands and gestures.

Some puppies go out of hand soon. They keep on jumping and nipping, avoiding what is said to them. Things will quickly get out hand and someone could end up injured if not controlled. Smile if it is not your pup!
