An effective routine is to do push ups with weights. First you have to know your strength, know how much weight you can lift. Then you get one weight in each hand, now you start doing push ups, but when you come up, you lift one arm up with a weight in your hand. Then when you come down you lift the other hand with the weight. Do this until you reach your limit, don’t force your self.
Another routine is doing sit-ups while holding weights, when you come up you stretch one arm out with the weight, then when you go down you do the same with the other arm. Again never force yourself to do more, know your limit.

I’M 16 ALSO.
WELL THEY SAY OUT HERE..ITS BETTER TO LEARN HOW TO BOX IF YOU GO TO A GYM YEAH OK ITS TRUE.
I CAN’T GO TO A GYM I HAVE THE SAME SITUATION AS YOU DO
SO YOU KNOW WHAT I DID ? I GOT UP STARTED RUNNING AROUND THE FIELD EVERYDAY GOT A JOB OF CUTTING GRASS TO BUY EQUIPMENTS SO I COULD TRAIN HOME ALL THAT FOR THE LOVE OF THE SPORT CALLED BOXING !
FOR ME THERE IS a THING MORE IMPORTANT THEN TRAINING MAN AND THAT IS MOTIVATION AND I HAVE IT AND YOU SHOULD HAVE IT SO DON’T COME WITH limited motivation YOU SHOULD HAVE MORE THEN LIMITED YOU SHOULD HAVE TONS OF MOTIVATIONS !
I RUN 3 OR 4 LAPS AROUND THE FIELD TO BUILD SOME STAMINA SO AFTER I CAN START RUNNING MILES.
SO YOU SHOULD BUILD STAMINA FIRST
AND SINCE I DON’T HAVE A COACH I HAD TO LEARN ON THE INTERNET BELIEVE IT OR NOT SO I USED

(i run laps then jump rope then hit the heavy bag speed bag then i shadow box for a while )

youtube.com i typed how to box helped me 2.

http://www.fight-site.com

http://www.expertboxing.com

after you learn train one hour a day a’tleast
and if you don’t have money to buy equipmenst get creative make your stuff its all about on how much you really want it like i didn’t have money to buy a speed bag i made one !

make sure you get used to put your chin down and guard up
so you don’t have much bad habits ….that would make life easier for a coach when you get one

well i hope i helped man.
email me if anything else

Yeah…If you want to box like the pros, I suggest for you to train at a local boxing gym/club. It’s going to be difficult for you to learn boxing techniques without an appropriate trainer. I mean sure you can get in shape like a boxer but you still won’t know what to do once you step into that ring. You should really go out and buy a heavy bag if you can. The punching bag can be your best sparring partner if you use it right. Work on developing speed and power into your punches. If you’re going to lift weights, don’t worry too much about bulking up in size. Boxers don’t need to be bulky and overly muscular. They just need to have the right amounts of muscle so they do not become fatigue too quickly while they are fighting. Plus, some muscle will add to your strength and power in your punches. I suggest mainly doing exercises with your legs and shoulders such as squats, lunges, pushups, shoulder press, lateral raises, etc. Good luck. Make sure you do a lot of road work too. ( Running )

how do you know for sure that no one is around. here are two boxing directories right here… boxinggyms.com and boxinghelp.com
also you can go to amateurboxing.com send an email with where you live and that you are looking for a trainer. the only way your gonna learn to be an affective boxer is by going to a boxing gym
