The Benefits of a Compact Exercise Bike

Perhaps, you have vowed time and time again to get involved with an exercise program. Those pants that you just bought three months ago are not fastening together right and certainly that scale must be off by five pounds.

A compact exercise bike is a convenient and portable piece of exercise equipment. Generally the dimensions are less than two feet long, one and half feet wide and less than 10 inches in height. Specifically, this device equates to the specific pedal area of a bike. Also equipped on the compact exercise bike is a tension knob, which when turned will add to the resistance of moving the pedals.

In addition, by adding tension, through the turning of the resistance knob, you can simulate bike riding as if you were peddling up in a hill. Utilizing this resistance and working up to a higher level of resistance will maximize your workout and strengthen the muscles of your legs.
