Planning a Great Stationary Exercise Bike Program You¡¯ll Stick With

If you¡¯ve decided that you need to start taking care of your body and want to start an exercise program to keep fit and lose a bit of that extra weight, a stationary exercise bike program is a great place to start. Using the equipment is familiar to most people, and pedaling along while you¡¯re watching your favorite movie or listening to some great music you love kills two birds with one stone. A stationary exercise bike program is a great workout for your heart and leg muscles, and it helps to burn off extra calories you can afford to lose.

Set Yourself Up For Success

You¡¯ve made the decision, you¡¯ve gone out and bought a great bike, and you¡¯re all set up for three hours of intensive pedaling and you¡¯re going to only drink water and an energy bar for supper ¨C great plan, right? Definitely wrong. Going for big calorie burns and starvation doesn¡¯t get your body where you want it to be, and the rebound effect will disappoint you. This type of exercising is the reason many people become frustrated and discouraged and stop trying to lose weight or stay fit. What you need to focus on is a stationery exercise bike program that maintains a consistent, slow pace of working out.

Your stationery exercise bike program should involve a healthy, sensible diet that gives your body enough proper food such as whole grains and vegetables to be satisfied. Avoid chips and colas and think fresh instead. Never skip meals, but keep the portions you eat small, and eat often. Do your workout when you¡¯re feeling fresh and ready to go. If at any point you feel pain or soreness, stop right away and take a break until tomorrow ¨C never push yourself to work through pain.
